- Financial Information: If you elect to buy or sell placements, we collect transaction information. Payment processing is handled by our third-party provider, Stripe. We do not directly store your raw credit card numbers or bank account details.
- Podcast Metadata: Information imported from RSS feeds such as show titles, descriptions, and artwork.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our application.
- Process transactions and send you related information, including deal confirmations and invoices.
- Improve, personalize, and expand our platform.
- Communicate with you regarding customer service or system updates.
- Find and prevent fraud or malicious activity.
3. Third-Party Services
We may share your information with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. This includes:
- Stripe: For payment processing and host payouts.
- Supabase: For secure database hosting and user authentication.
- Resend: For dispatching transactional email notifications.
4. Log Files
PODCAT follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
