Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Podcat and the placement marketplace.
Last updated: February 23, 2026
1. What Podcat is
Podcat is a marketplace and workflow tool that helps podcast buyers and hosts coordinate promotional placements. Podcat is not a guarantee of performance, chart position, or a specific number of downloads.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You are responsible for activity on your account. You must provide accurate information when creating listings or sending requests. You agree not to impersonate another show, network, or brand.
3. Marketplace rules
Hosts control approvals. Buyers must provide accurate promo assets and requirements. Placements must be verifiable by link (episode link or feed item).
Podcat may remove listings, requests, or accounts that are misleading, fraudulent, spammy, or violate the Prohibited Content policy.
4. Payments, fees, and refunds
Buyers pay only after a host approves a request (recommended flow). Pricing should be transparent and consistent with the listing and request details.
Podcat may charge a platform fee on paid placements processed through the platform. Refunds and disputes are handled according to the Refund Policy.
See: Refund policy
5. Verification and delivery
Placements should be verified through a working link to the episode or feed item where the placement ran. Hosts may include timestamps or additional proof when relevant.
6. Prohibited content and conduct
You may not use Podcat to promote illegal activity, harassment, hate, fraud, or deceptive "guaranteed results" claims. You may not create fake listings or attempt to manipulate tracking.
See: Prohibited content
7. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of your show name, artwork, and assets. By submitting assets or listings, you grant Podcat the right to display them for marketplace and workflow purposes.
8. Disclaimers
Podcat is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that placements will generate a specific outcome.
9. Termination
Podcat may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or policies. You may stop using the platform at any time.
